Our Focus

  • Volunteer Days & Education Opportunities

Mangaroa Farms regularly hosts volunteer days and workshops to share the broad knowledge base of our team. Through workshops & events, we aim to increase local knowledge & connection to food systems, whilst planting native trees on mass, and promoting the application of regenerative agriculture.

    Stay in the loop
  • Cultivating a Resilient Community Food Hub

Through building healthy soil & microbial systems, our market garden team produces a weekly array of fresh & delicious produce, grown with organic principles, available to order online or pickup at our Honesty fridge, in our efforts to increase localised food production.

  • Forest & River Conservation

The Mangaroa river is the lifeblood of our regeneration project, providing life to the forests, bird/aquatic life, and the surrounding farm area. Our farm backs on to 500+ acres of native old growth forest, neighboured by 700+ acres of pine which will be regenerated as a native forest over the next 2-5 years.

  • Regenerative Grazing & Soil Diversity

Working alongside nature and partnering with livestock, our team of pasture raised cows and sheep provide rich fertilizer for increasing the health & diversity of our largest underground livestock - the soil mycelium network. Raising our cattle happily in a stress-free environment means we are able to generate high-quality, nutrient dense kai for our local community.
