Join Mangaroa Farms for Pick Your Own Veges at our market gardens. Experience the joy of harvesting your own fresh, spray-free produce straight from the soil.

Please note, the $20 charge is for one crate of veges. Your ticket pays for your first crate. Additional crates are available for another $20. See photos for crate size reference.

If you sign up for your slot, please be sure to be there on time, for an induction and welcome.

Make a morning of it with your whānau. Meet our gardeners, explore our market garden, permaculture orchard and multispecies maze. Connect with how your kai is grown and enjoy the satisfaction of harvesting your own vegetables.

Available produce: Kale, elephant garlic, chilli peppers, rhubarb, turnips, beetroot, potatoes and pumpkins. Pumpkins are charged per pumpkin, not contained within a crate.


Please bring:
- Your own bags
- Secateurs or knife
- Hat, water, waterproof shoes, warm layers and sun protection

Our Farm Shop & Coffee Cart will be open for snacks, hot drinks and extra kai to take home.

We regularly host events, workshops and gatherings around our farm. We're passionate about bringing people together around food and wellbeing, to restore the health of the land, ourselves, and our wider community. From tree planting to breathwork, and permaculture and kids' activities, there is something for everyone.
