Grass to Garden Workshop — Thu 12th November | 4:00PM - 6:30PM

Join Mangaroa Farms for a hands-on Grass to Garden Workshop where we'll explore the practical skills and ideas you need to transform your patch of lawn or pasture into a thriving, productive garden space.

Through a mix of kōrero and hands-on learning, we'll dive into different approaches to garden establishment — from no-dig methods and sheet mulching to cultivation and soil preparation. You'll discover how to build healthy soil, manage weeds, make good use of organic materials, and create fertile growing spaces that work with nature.

Learn accessible, low-cost techniques you can take home and apply straight away, whether you're starting your first vegetable bed or expanding what you've already got going.

We will begin at Thu 12th November | 4:00pm at 108 Whitemans Valley Road (Garden).
