Join Mangaroa Farms for Winter Pruning Workshop

Join us for a hands-on, practical fruit tree workshop designed to give you the knowledge and skills to grow thriving, productive trees. Whether you're planting your first sapling or looking to fine-tune your pruning technique, this mahi will set you up for success.

This two-hour outdoor workshop offers both essential information and up-close, in-the-field learning. We'll head into an established orchard for hands-on pruning, where you'll learn how to manage existing trees, master winter pruning techniques, and work confidently with various species.

What to Bring:
Secateurs (if you have them)
Gloves
A drink bottle
Weather-appropriate clothing – this workshop is fully outdoors
Sturdy, closed-toe, water-resistant footwear

Important Notes:
In case of heavy rain, we'll postpone to a backup date and notify you directly.
Meet at the Mangaroa Farm Shop with overflow parking available. From there, we'll caravan to the pruning site.
